Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Chemical Peeling.
We cleanse your skin, apply a customized chemical solution, and closely monitor your response. You may feel tingling or warmth. Sessions usually last 30–60 minutes with mild redness and peeling developing over the following days.
Recovery depends on peel depth: superficial peels have light flaking for 2–5 days, while medium peels may require 7–14 days of peeling and redness. Your clinician will advise timing and aftercare to support healing.
Chemical peels can be safe for many skin types when customized. We assess skin tone, concerns, and history to minimize risks like irritation or pigment changes and choose an appropriate peel strength.
Results vary by concern: many clients see improvement after one peel, but a series of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart often provides more noticeable, lasting results for texture and pigmentation.
Aftercare includes gentle cleansing, regular moisturizing, daily broad-spectrum sunscreen, and avoiding sun exposure and exfoliants until healed. Do not pick peeling skin and follow any product recommendations from your clinician.
Peels can improve superficial acne scars and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Deeper scarring may need combined treatments like microneedling or lasers. We’ll recommend a tailored plan based on scar depth and skin goals.
